Here I want to share with you a precious information. You might have heard from your friends or relatives or might have experienced yourself, the chronic cough.

Yes, the word chronic cough itself might panic many of you. You might have experienced many sleepless nights, even me too, before knowing about this natural remedy. Always keep in mind that taking more medication will not provide any additional effects but bring side effects.

Cough usually goes away by themselves in a few days. A chronic cough is a one that lasts for more than two weeks. This is more than just an annoyance. It may leave you feel exhausted. Some symptoms of chronic cough are as follows:

Stuffy nose
Running nose
Sore throat
Sore taste in your mouth
Shortness of breath
Coughing up blood
An occasional cough is very normal. Actually, an occasional cough helps to clear irritants and secretions from lungs. So it prevents you from infection. It prevents foreign materials from entering the lungs.

Let me reveal the secret. Cardamom (Elaichi) is that fantastic ingredient which would get you relief from chronic cough. Intake cardamon in the way suggested as follows.

Before going to bed at night, take two cardamoms. Peel the skin and take out the seeds. Chew the seeds and sip a glass of hot water. You should not gulp a glass of water instead sip it.

Definitely you would get a big relief from cough immediately.

Cardamom is an easily available ingredient. And you would find it in almost all the Indian houses. It is used in sweet dishes. Not only it adds sweetness but also gives an unique flavor to the dish. It not only has this property but also is useful in may other cases as well. It helps to detox your body, overcome bad breath, improve digestion.

Chronic cough might be a result of smoking. So if that is the case, avoid smoking. Chronic cough may also include asthma, pulmonary disease.

At times of chronic cough, take rest as much as rest as you can even if you don't feel sick. Gargle frequently with warm salt water. Avoid smoking and other irritants such as dust, fumes etc. Sleep with extra pillows to avoid nose congestion.

Have a happy safe healthy living!!!
